IOWA is awesome

hey everyone (the 2 people that read my LJ)!!!!
i'm visiting Jer's grandparents in Albia, IA, and we're having a fantastic time! it took us two days to get here; we stopped in Indianapolis, IN, to sleep and then arrived here last evening.
today we went to the Plum family reunion and i saw like a million people i don't know. there were 3 familiar faces there :)
tomorrow we are off to Des Moines for the iowa state fair...fun fun fun!
on our way here we stopped in Grant County, Indiana to see the James Dean Gallery Museum. we got there just after 7 and the place closed at 6pm. what a bummer...we might go see it on our way back.
when we stopped in indianapolis, we saw the motor speedway. Jerry was very excited as he is a pretty big race fan. go kasey kahne haha ...once again though, it was closed.
it took us a long butt time to find our hotel but once we did we couldn't wait to just SLEEP!
we also went to the hardees there in indianapolis and it was awesome. it was soo cool we tipped our cashier girl...it was weird. indiana people are so nice!
ok well gma's keyboard is pretty hard to type on and my wrists hurt...so i'll be in touch...
in another 5 months.
